Get to Know Lynette Lim, DDS
Dr. Lim says that one of the best parts about being a dentist is that she not only gets to help people every day, but the results are usually immediate as well. Nothing makes her happier than seeing the relief on a patient’s face after she has gotten them out of pain or their appreciation when they look at their new smile in the mirror for the first time. She’s eager to make a difference for your lasting oral health, and you can start getting to know her below.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Lim attended the University of Southern California and earned her dental degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. She then completed a General Practice Residency at the Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC.
While pursuing her dental degree, Dr. Lim volunteered with the Los Angeles Dental Mobile Clinic to provide free dental care to migrant workers and their families. She also spent time at several day clinics that primarily served underprivileged communities in Southern California and Mexico. Through the Christian Medical Dental Association, she has taken part in multiple dental mission trips to Guatemala.
Dr. Lim has experience as a Dental Teaching Assistant and has a certification in laser dentistry. On top of this, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Originally from Palm Springs, CA, Dr. Lim and her husband, Christian, were married in 2020, and they have since adopted two puppies—Aspen and Willow. She likes to stay active by indoor climbing, hiking, backpacking, and running. One interesting fact about Dr. Lim is that she represented Singapore in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics for swimming!
